October 2009 As the No1 Painting Contractor on the GM Procure Framework for delivering Cyclical Painting, Repairs & Maintenance Works, we have been chosen by Trafford Housing Trust, Stockport Homes, Cheshire Peaks & Plains & Guinness Northern Counties for all or part of their cyclical maintenance works in 2009. The contract value's range from £493,000;00 to £100,000;00 for 2008 and 2009 (on going) delivering our services to 0ver 15000 dwellings each year. The works carried out by George Jones on these contact's are:- All of the tenant consultation, pre-paint surveys, quality management, H&S Management, measuring & costing is carried out by us prior to commencement or entering a formal contract, with no costs being encountered the customer. Whist working with GM Procure we have mentored a small Painting firm and assisted with H&S, costing, managing of quality and enable a micro business to employ local labour that would have previously seemed a lost cause, in many companies eyes. Through mentoring this micro business for over two years now, we have together given sustained employment to over 10 operatives and have ensured they receive the qualifications and training to carry out the necessary trades, working closely with our HR & H&S Managers/Personnel. Through our local manchester office which is manned by our TLO we have been able to share our office and IT with members of the customers team, which enables a One Stop shop for the Customers.
